Weekend in New York

Excited to be on the Airplane!

We took a ride on a horse drawn cart

Day 1 on Patience

Ella thought it was cool that she matched the door!

Bubbles in Woodstock!

Huge Bubbles!

Day 2 on Patience!

We spent the weekend in New York visiting Brady and Dave last weekend. It was Ella's second time on an airplane, but the first time that she can remember. The very first time we flew to Scotoland but she was only 4-1/2 months old. Ella loved the plane rides and we had a great time visiting with Brady and Dave and seeing a little bit of the area. Ella decided that she wanted to ride Aunt Brady's horse, Patience. We didn't really think she would do it as Patience is a very large draft horse (over 6' tall at the shoulders!). Ella surprised us all by getting on Patience with Brady, walking around, and she actually cried when she had to get off! Maybe she is going to follow in her Aunt's footsteps and become an Equine Vet! If not, mom and dad have warned me from experience that this is a very expensive hobby for Ella to get interested in!!

Starting to Get Ready...

We are slowly but surely starting to put the nursery back together. I think everyone knows that we were not planning on having anymore children so we had gotten rid of EVERYTHING. We have been slowly acquiring things for the new baby and working on making the guest room the nursery that it originally was. Ella thinks it is a lot of fun to try out all the baby's things as we get them!

Snow Day!

Our house

Daddy and Ella

We woke up to 7-8 inches of snow this morning. That was enought snow to shut down Richmond today! So we had the day off of work and got to play in the snow some more and spend a relaxing day at home watching movies!

Ella's First Snow....Finally!!

All bundled up and very excited about playing in the snow!

Making snowballs!

So Pretty!

Ella turned 3 one month ago and just finally got to play in the snow for the first time! We had to go out tonight because in Virginia you just never know if the snow will be around for long. However, we are supposed to get more snow tonight so hopefully we won't have to work tomorrow and can play outside some more! Ella had a blast!
