Maryland

We camped out at Barnes & Noble while Papa waited in line in the rain for tickets!

The Dolphin Show was a hit!

Checking out the fishies

Ella especially liked the turtles

Cheese!

Dinner at Macaroni Grille - Yummy!

Brady and Dave were in Silver Spring, MD this weekend for their other niece's baptism so we headed there on Saturday to see them. We could not bear to have them within 2 hours of us and not see them. Saturday afternoon we headed to Baltimore to go the Aquarium and to walk around the inner harbor area. Unfortunately, it poured all day so we went to the aquarium but weren't able to walk around and enjoy the area... especially since we only had one regular umbrella and one very pretty pink princess umbrella for the 4 of us. If it wasn't raining so hard I really would have gotten a picture of Papa with his princess umbrella!

Romp-N-Roll

Needing help on the monkey bars

Lots of climbing, rolling, sliding, and jumping!!

We signed Ella up for a gym class that meets once a week. She is really enjoying it and she is getting to try new things. They have a miniature rock wall, a small trampoline, a small trapeze bar, and lots more! The class is 12 weeks long so I am sure there will be more pictures in the coming months!

More Hokie Football!

Trying to stay cool...

Papa and Ella needed a little nap before the game

Watching the game!

Ella and Kevin

Ella and Terri

Virginia Tech played Georgia Tech at home on Saturday and since Ella enjoyed the first game so much we thought we would try it again! We had some good friends from Phoenix come in town for the game and Ella really took to them. The game was later in the day this week and it was extremely hot, but Ella loved the football game and likes to cheer for the Hokies! And to make the day even better... the Hokies looked much better this week and won the game!

VT Football!!

Practicing their cheers!

Taking it all in...

Little Cat Nap

Yay Hokies!

This past weekend was the first home game of the season. We weren't sure that Hurricane Hannah was going to let us go... but she decided to stay to the east and we ended up with a beautiful day in Blacksburg. I didn't make it to many games last year because Ella didn't prove to be much of a football fan, but she has seen the error of her ways! She had a great time at the game and even watched the field, clap when everyone else clapped, and yelled "Go Hokies!" I was a very proud mommy!

Photo Session....

As most people know, my brother-in-law is a pretty talented photographer.... I really wanted to get some pictures of Ella and Brady so Dave was kind enough to snap a few shot for me. Here a just a couple of my favorites!

New York!

Excited to be on the train!

Arriving in New York.
Helping make Birthday Cake and licking the spoon!
Happy Birthday Aunt Brady!

Austyn got to benefit from the stoller too!

Waiting for the train to head home...

We have had a busy month so far... First we headed to New York to see Brady and Dave. We decided to not to attempt an 8 hour car ride with Ella so we opted for the train. Ella LOVED the train and we LOVED it too!!

We celebrated Brady's 27th birthday and got to see a lot of the area where they live. It is a very nice area with nice quaint towns and lots of old Victorian houses.

We had a great long weekend and were sad to leave except that we got to ride the train again... which helped Ella not have a fit when we had to say to goodbye to her Aunt Brady and Uncle Dave!
