It was a beautiful fall day today and we spent the afternoon at the pumpkin patch.  We always enjoy our outings to the Chesterfield Berry Farm, there is so much for the kids to do.  Ella had a great time on the moon bounce, feeding the animals, shooting the paint guns, watching the pigs race, and of course picking out a pumpkin for her and one for Kinsley.  Kinsley loves being outside so she really enjoyed the fresh air!

3 Months Old!

Another month has gone by...and Kinsley is now 3 months old. She loves to laugh now and has found her hands.  She is also trying to sit up. She has had her first temperature and ear infection already, but recovered quickly after a shot of antibotics.  She continues to be very happy and easy going...

It's Football Season!!!

Well, it is finally football season!  We have been to the the first 2 Hokie football games and Ella is enjoying it just as much as she did last year!  We have had beautiful weather and great outcomes!!

2 Months Old

It is hard to believe, but Kinsley is already 2 months old!  She started daycare and hasn't had any problems.  She likes watching the other babies and is very tired by Friday.  She is a very happy baby and very easy going.

We spent the long weekend at the lake. I was so happy to get to see a high school friend, Dawn, and to be able to meet her husband and precious children. We also go to spend a little time with Jill. Matt and his girlfriend joined us as well. Ella is IN LOVE with my cousing Matt! She could not get enough of him...and luckily he was a good sport and gave her a lot of attention. Tomorrow is my first day back to work. The 8 weeks of maternity leave went by entirely too fast!

The lake house was rented most of the summer so this weekend was our first time there in 2-1/2 months! We had great weather and I think Kinsley is going to like it there as much as the rest of us do! She took her first (and second) boat ride and had her first bonfire! She even wore her first bathing suit!

Bedtime Stories for the Kids

Since we weren't able to take a family vacation this year we decided to take Ella to Great Wolf Lodge for a night. However, we had so much fun the first day that we decided to stay another night! It was a great family weekend!
